Meet the Regenerates

Chris Garmon

President

When Christopher was five, he started taking apart remote controlled cars and his parents clocks to see how they worked, so his mom bought him a toy piano to keep him distracted. Of course, the next step was to figure out how to play “Jingle Bells” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”. Not much has changed. Christopher is a creative strategist. He loves music and figuring out how to innovate the music industry to make things work better. Now, on top of writing, playing and producing music, Christopher runs Regenerate Music Co. with the help of a lot of his friends.

Rob Alderman

Director of PR

Rob's parents tell the story that when he was a toddler, he would suddenly walk out of the room whenever something scary was about to happen on the television shows they were watching. "For a long time we thought he had ESP. Then one night we realized- It was the MUSIC. He was hearing the subtle changes in the music score and leaving before anything bad would happen. He always heard the subtle things before anyone else did." Rob has been following the music ever since.

Jordan Duke

Booking and Live Manager

Ask Jordan Duke what moment he decided to pursue music as a career and the answer you’ll get is, “Every moment.” Since he can remember, music has always pervaded his life and how he lives it. From making a drums set out of pots and pans at the age of 3 to co-producing an international music festival in Germany at 25, Jordan’s mind is constantly considering new ways to branch out and create new avenues for artists to share their work.

Eric Brown

Artist Management and Internal Relations

Eric seriously considered assuming the role of Batman when he grew up; thus began his day job of ciphering how to make dreams reality. Even though this hasn’t quite resulted in fighting bad guys, he has joined with a few teams of "good guys," including Regenerate Music Company. Eric does not play any instruments, but he did at one point pretend to be Bono. Eric lives in the clouds, where he feels most comfortable, but when he comes down from the big ideas, he gets his hands dirty with the details as well. Eric serves as creative director for the Whiteboard Network, which exists to commission brand and identity for purposeful ventures. He also served as the Project and Research Coordinator for Q, an innovative community that serves to educate Christians on their historic responsibility to renew culture.

Jonathan Cutrell

Art and Technical Director

Jonathan William Cutrell is a bit of an oddity. In a world where there are tight lines drawn between tech and art, Jonathan has chosen not to form an alliance with either side. He’s the only guy you know who is just as likely to be found coding a website as he is practicing guitar. Most days are spent with him running between the recording room and the server. You could say he's sort of like the human version of Switzerland.

Tyler Orr

Studio Manager

In 1996, Tyler’s friends agreed it would be fun to start a band—even though none of them knew how to play an instrument. “My dad has his old drums in the basement,” said one guy. He became the drummer. “I have a guitar in my closet,” said the other guy. You can guess what instrument he learned. Bass was left for Tyler. The group of friends practiced until they could play together and eventually wrote some songs. They wanted to record a demo, but couldn't afford the big studio in town, so they rented an ADAT 8 track digital tape recorder and assigned Tyler the job of making them sound good. Unfortunately, it sounded terrible, but the challenge pulled Tyler to pursue the art of recording. Eventually, he grew from working for free to snagging paying clients. Somewhere along the way he traded in his 8 track for a computer, quit his job, and tried his hand at recording professionally. Early on his career, he worked on an EP for Copland and As Cities Burn; and Rookie Of The Year and Corey Chisel’s first full length records. As the years passed, he contributed to every As Cities Burn record, co-producing Hell Or High Water with Cody Bonnette, and produced lots of great records for lots of great bands. Although Tyler’s recordings have improved leaps-and-bounds from his first attempt, he still strives just as hard to make each recording better than the previous.

J.D. Youngblood

Video and Communications Director

As a kid, J.D. hit anything he could when he had sticks in his hands. Many dashboards in cars were destroyed. This could have evolved into something more destructive, luckily he learned to focus his powers on becoming a heck of a drummer. His powers don’t stop there though. If he's not playing drums, he's producing videos for Regenerate Music Co., sequencing in Reason, engineering in the studio, or tell all kinds of funny jokes. He really is a joker. I mean, like... He’s hilarious....

Jessica Hale

Social Action Manager

Jessica's heart for serving people began as a small child. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she answered, a maid. She spent the majority of her childhood caring for baby dolls and praying for missionaries. At an early age, she understood the travesties of injustice in society, which continues to drive the passion inside of her to work towards bringing restoration and redemption to those who's lives have been destroyed and seem hopeless.

Matt Goldman

Godfather of Glow in the Dark

Matt Goldman is a figment of your imagination who makes gold and platinum records.

Matt McClellan

Producer and Engineer Extraordinaire

In 2008, Matt McClellan's brother listed a drum kit for sale on Craigslist. It just so happened that Matt Goldman was in search of said drum kit and replied with an interest in purchasing the item. Matt McClellan took this as a sign from the Craigslist gods and decided to go out on a limb and ask Goldman for the chance to intern at Glow In The Dark Studios. McClellan spent the next year and a half as an intern and all around servant to Goldman. At the end of the internship in June 2010, McClellan began working exclusively out of Glow In The Dark as a paid producer, engineer, and mixer as well as continuing to assist Goldman when needed. With a stamp of approval from Matt Goldman, and a natural ear for quality and good taste, McClellan is on his way to making a name for himself in the world of recording.

Shibu Joseph

Finance and All the Boring Stuff

When Shibu came to work for Regenerate in 2011, he endearingly became known as the "Business slash all the boring stuff guy". This is actually because the rest of us are jealous of his genius ability to do all of the things that we are terrible at. With undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance and his graduate degree in Controllership Accounting from St. John’s University in New York City where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has over 12 years of quality professional experience with organizations such as Covenant Transport, Inc., Ernst & Young, LLP, Grant Thornton, LLP and Marsh USA, Inc. He's basically our Dad.

Jonathan Capeci

Artist Development/Promotions

Jonathan Capeci is the frontman for the band Dinner And A Suit. His interest in Regenerate music company peaked after meeting the founders, who share the same passion for music. Outside of writing and traveling with the band, his interests lie in fishing, reading, wilderness survival, good times, and the thought of intergalactic travel.
